Thanks for a great year.
1. I hope everyone had fun, those of you that were left for the closing ceremonies got to see all of us that pulled the whole thing off.
2. I'd like to thank everyone who brought systems and games for the game room.
3. I would like to thank everyone that ran tabletop games, ccg's, etc. I think most people there had a lot of fun. and I think most every participant in my Table top, and the steve jackson/cthullu games got a prize of some sort for playing.
4. I'd like to thank our guests, and our attending guests. : Ego Raptor, J.F. Lewis, The Alabama 501st, Madison County Paranormal Research Society, Alabama Ghost Busters, Camarilla of Huntsville, Wandering Men Studios, Gamealogical Institute and anyone I might be forgetting.
5. I'd like to thank the group of dedicated WoW fans that came by our panel
6. And last but certainly not least. I'd like to thank my family of friends for doing a great job this year: Jeff, Evan, Randy, Ruffy, Rhonda, Leslie, Aloiscious, Peter, Marvin, Lauri, Cody, David, Mudkip, Milk, Hyper, Jeremy, Christy, Brooke, Carol and anyone I might be forgetting.
7. I hope you all post pictures and LINK them from our forum so we can see the pics everyone took during the convention. All I had was my cell phone, and 1.7mp pics aren't the best, so I wouldn't mind snagging some others. If you have a account on the forum you can also post them on the image board.
Many Thanks Everyone
and May the Force be with you.
CrisisCon 2010 Count Down
Well everyone, we’re in the home stretch. Things are shaping up nicely for a great year. We have had a few hiccups along the way but all in all things are looking up. There is one unfortunate piece of information. Jeff Ugly Shoe and the Cemetery Surfers will be unable to join us this year due to health issues. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
On a brighter note, this year looks to be both fun and educational. Posted below is the official schedule, which we know several of you have been anxious to see. To all our panelists and guests, we thank you for your continued support and lets make this an awesome weekend!

Trivia Contest
Ah the Trivia Contest, where each year we look for the most knowledgeable of those in the Sci/Fi, Anime, Fantasy, Video Game, Manga, and Comic realms. As with all previous years, The first round of the Trivia Contest is open to any and every convention goer who can assemble a team of 2 to 6 people. Many times teams are formed only minutes before Round 1, which is cool btw.
Round 1 - The Questionaire - all teams are given a quiz, from this quiz, which will reach throughout the realms of knowledge, we find our top 4 teams. Don't worry about being able to answer all the questions, no one has ever answered all the questions.
Round 2 - Buzzer Rounds - 30 questions, visual puzzlers, and lightning rounds worth points to your teams. Each Team member will have a buzzer in hand, after the question is asked first to buzz in gets the chance to answer first. After the 4 teams have squared off, only 2 will remain.
Round 3 Final Round - Round style will be identical to Round 2, buzzer style, with questions, visual games, and more. The winner of that round gets bragging rights for a year, and a prize pack. May the best Geek Win
P.S. Everyone always asks where the questions will come from, well here are a few of the examples of where questions have come from in years past: Star Wars, Sailor Moon, X-Men, Halo 3, Hello Kitty, Star Trek, My Neighbor Totoro, Stargate, Cowboy BeBop, Gundam (all series), Zelda, Pok e mans, Evangelion, Melon of Haruhi, Godzilla, Power Rangers, Spider Man, Recent Sci Fi and Fantasy Classics that you would have seen at the theater in the last year, etc, etc. So there is your answer.
And if you want to know what Rounds 2 and 3 will be like you can check out this old video from a few years back, though this one was Anime Only

Great news everybody, we have Stormtroopers. The good troops at The 501st Legion's Alabama Garrison will be coming to Crisis Con this year, and we are thrilled to have them, I mean, what sci-fi fan doesn't love seeing Stormtroopers wandering around a convention? I know I do!
Some of them will be hosting a armor building panel for attendees, as well as discussing the 501st, its mission, and how you can get involved. They really are a great bunch, and through their efforts many charitable contributions to worthy causes are made, and we at CrisisCon will be more than happy to help them with those goals.
So, grab your Blasters, and come meet the troops!

Magic the Gathering Tournament
Wandering Men Studios developed Untold, the revolutionary new Card-Based Role-Playing Game, or CBRPG (™), because we were not satisfied with what is currently available in the world of RPG`s. We wanted to return gaming to its roots: where fun, imagination and creativity are ``KING`` (not suits, bottom lines and profit margins) and where gamers are not forced to buy a new set of rulebooks every year or a new load of cards every week.
