mc chris (Christopher Ward) was born and raised in the north shore suburbs of Chicago. Upper middle
class, chris grew up on a steady diet of G.I Joe, Star Wars and rented betamax tapes. In high school, chris was a big
fan of counter culture hip hop after hearing public enemy for the first time.
Chris Hazelton entered the
entertainment world through the film industry working on films such
as "End of Days", "The Hurricane", "Thirteen
Days" and "Spy Game". In 2002, Chris produced his
first comic online and in print, "Building 12". Chris
quickly followed up "Building 12" in 2004 with the much
more successful and well known comic "Misfile". After
leaving Hollywood, Chris began pursuing drawing comics as a full time
career...

Motel Matches is a rock band currently from Anniston, Alabama. The
band's debut album, So Long, Longevity, was recorded by Doug McBride,
owner of the acclaimed Gravity Studios in Chicago, Illinois--former
clients of the studio range from Smashing Pumpkins, Motion City
Soundtrack, Ben Kweller, Veruca Salt, and the Promise Ring, just to
name a few.
J.F. Lewis lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his
patient wife, two adorable sons, and an ornery Akita. He decided that
he wanted to be a writer when a supposed creative writing teacher
questioned his sanity and suggested therapy. Staked is his first
novel. The author spent eight wonderful years working in comic and
game stores and is currently employed by AT&T.

alabama 501st will be coming to Crisis Con this year, and we are
thrilled to have them, I mean, what sci-fi fan doesn't love seeing
Storm Troopers wandering around a convention, I know I do. Some of them will be hosting a armor...
What is the Midnight Movie Marathon you might ask, well it's very simple actually. We will be showing you some of those movies that you might and might not have seen before, but they are the ones with a reputation for being 'so bad, they are good' kinda movies. There will be 2 movies, and the theme will of course be horror since it will be Friday night (Halloween). Now, this is great for a lot of reasons, one, you get to come and enjoy some awesomely bad movies with your buddies, two, it's free to con attendees, and three.... well you've got two reasons what more do you want.
This will be the movie selection for Friday (Halloween) Evening for our attendees viewing pleasure.
There will be a few Costume Awards given out at the end of the Marathon as well. BUT, you must be present to win the award. What is the award you might ask, well, you don't get to know, perhaps a DVD, perhaps a CD, perhaps a Book... you never know, and quite frankly, why do you need another reason to dress up. The 3 awards will be given in the following Categories
