Motel Matches is a rock band currently from Anniston, Alabama. The band's debut album, So Long, Longevity, was recorded by Doug McBride, owner of the acclaimed Gravity Studios in Chicago, Illinois--former clients of the studio range from Smashing Pumpkins, Motion City Soundtrack, Ben Kweller, Veruca Salt, and the Promise Ring, just to name a few. The album includes 11 tracks of upbeat and energetic songs, laced with melody and hooks. Motel Matches former endeavors have played for headlining crowds reaching into the thousands, and have shared the stage with such up and coming acts as Plain White T's, Bayside, and the Rocket Summer.
Regardless of the past accomplishments gained by the members' former bands, Motel Matches strive to make a name for themselves and create something new and relevant.
