501stLegion The 501st Legion: Vader's Fist - Alabama Garrison

Great news everybody, we have Stormtroopers. The good troops at The 501st Legion's Alabama Garrison will be coming to Crisis Con this year, and we are thrilled to have them, I mean, what sci-fi fan doesn't love seeing Stormtroopers wandering around a convention? I know I do!

Some of them will be hosting a armor building panel for attendees, as well as discussing the 501st, its mission, and how you can get involved. They really are a great bunch, and through their efforts many charitable contributions to worthy causes are made, and we at CrisisCon will be more than happy to help them with those goals.

So, grab your Blasters, and come meet the troops!

Gamealogical Institute

IG_Crest CrisisCon would like to welcome Tony Ripley, and the Gamealogical Institute to our gaming line up. GI will be with us Saturday showing off some of there fine games and will also be hosting a panel on game development in the analog world. Here are a few of the game you can expect to see from GI at CrisisCon.

Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson

An American amateur voice actor, comedy writer, animator, and artist. He is commonly known as "The 'Awesome' Guy" because of his ceaseless use of the word "Awesome" in his movie titles and for his most popular animation Metal Gear Awesome. I am speaking of non-other than Arin Hanson better known as "Egoraptor".

If you are not familiar with Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson's work you should check it out. Bellow are a few links to get you started. The first being his personal web site and the second his Newgrounds where you can find all of his great animated features.

Special guest J.F. Lewis will again be joining us in the 2010 season, J was a big hit last year and were glad to have him back for 2010.

J.F. Lewis lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his patient wife, two adorable sons, an ornery Akita, and a very hyper Labrador-mix puppy. He decided that he wanted to be a writer when a supposed creative writing teacher questioned his sanity and suggested therapy. Staked was his first novel. J spent eight wonderful years working in comic and game stores and is currently employed by AT&T.

Jeff Ugly Shoes & The Cemetery Surfer's

A great addition to the 2008 concerts at Crisicon we are pleased to announce the return of Jeff Ugly Shoes & The Cemetery Surfers. A great hit last year the group will be head lining this year Masquerade Ball. Formed by a Group of Parapsychologists and ghost hunters, The Cemetery Surfers spend as much time in haunted locations as they do onstage.

Artist Ally

Artist Ally Tables are now available. Artist Ally Table are limited. Tables available online on a first come, first serve basis. Each table is a 6ft x 2ft skirted table with two (2) chairs.

Q. Can I share a table with someone?

A. If you would like to split a table with another that is fine with us.

Q. Can I buy more than one table?

A. No, we would like for as many people as possible to be able to have a chance to display there art.

Q. Does my Artist Ally registration count as my registration for the convention?

A. Yes, each artist ally registration comes with one (1) general admission to CrisisCon good for all 3days of the convention.
